About WMBC:

We Mean Business Coalition works with the world’s most influential businesses to take action on climate change. The Coalition is a group of seven nonprofit organizations: BSR, CDP, Ceres, Climate Group, CLG Europe, The B Team and WBCSD. Beyond this core group, we also collaborate with a wider network of organizations that help to realize our shared vision at speed and scale. We have a clear theory of change that delivers on our goal of halving emissions by 2030 and accelerating an inclusive transition to a net zero economy:

• We catalyze business leadership by harnessing and amplifying the power of business to accelerate climate ambition, action, advocacy and accountability;
• We drive policy ambition and action by mobilizing the business voice to embolden policymakers to deliver climate policy ambition and action, and;
• We harness collaboration by building collaborative networks to maximize climate action at the highest level of ambition.

We Mean Business Coalition works across systems, including energy, transport, built environment, industry, land and finance. Our work in transport is aimed at achieving 30% GHG reduction by 2030 compared to 2019 through accelerating the deployment of electric road transport across all vehicle classes, scaling EV charging infrastructure and tracking and reducing global logistics industry emissions. To realize this, the Coalition invests in and mobilizes key initiatives that have the potential to transform the transport system including EV100, EV100+, CEVA, SFBA, and the Mission Possible Partnership.
