About EDF:

As a major player in energy transition, the EDF Group is an integrated energy company active in all businesses: generation, transmission, distribution, energy trading, energy sales and energy services. EDF group is a world leader in low-carbon energy, having developed a diverse low carbon production mix based mainly on nuclear and renewable energy (including hydropower). Through EDF Renewables, the Group is also an international leader in renewable energies. The company has strong positions in offshore wind power, but also in other areas of the renewable energies industry such as energy storage.

EDF is also investing in new technologies to support energy transition and electrification (energy efficiency and electric mobility). The transport sector is now the main contributor to greenhouse gas emissions in Europe. Consequently, carbon-free electricity is the solution of the future to ensure clean modes of transport. With an 91% CO2-free global energy mix¹, the EDF Group has a major role to play. Electric mobility is already a reality. For individuals, companies or communities, EDF has dedicated offers, which include the supply of low-carbon electricity and charging solutions. In 2021, EDF Group rolled out on average each month over 5,000 charging points in France, the UK, Italy and Belgium.
